A wallet manages accounts and requests signatures. A public address can be shared to receive compatible assets or inspect activity. A watch-only wallet reads an address without the authority to spend from it.
A private key authorizes actions for an account. A recovery phrase can recreate the keys of a wallet. Anyone with those secrets may control its assets. CryptoVex never needs either. Do not enter them into a website, chat or support form.
With custody, a service controls the keys. With a non-custodial wallet, you control them and their recovery. A hardware wallet keeps signing keys on a dedicated device; still verify the destination and action on its screen. Connecting an address is not the same as authorizing a transfer.
